Common questions about studying with BehPrep.
How are the chapter summaries produced?
Each MPEP chapter is condensed into a focused summary covering the rules, statutes, and procedures the exam actually tests. The original source PDF is always one click away so you can check anything against the official text.
What counts as passing?
Practice exams score against the 70% USPTO threshold. A chapter is marked mastered after three consecutive attempts at 80% or above.
How long should I study?
We suggest at least 200 hours. The study plan wizard takes your target date and weekly availability, then tells you whether your schedule reaches that figure.
Can I change my study plan after creating it?
Yes. Drag any task to a different day, edit or delete individual tasks, or dismiss the plan entirely and generate a new one.
What is included in the free tier?
The first two chapters, five questions per day, and definition flashcards. Pro unlocks every chapter, all exam modes, analytics, and the study plan.
